Preston Wholesale Meats was started by Joseph Walker on the 1st October 1963, Joe as he was known, grew up in the meat industry with his father owning 3 butchers in Preston. Joe loved the meat industry so much he brought Preston Abattoir and ran it alongside Preston Meats, supplying butchers shops in the north-west.

In 1994 David, Joe's only son took over the business and sold Preston Abattoir to solely concentrate on Preston Meats. Preston Meats is going from strength to strength with a team, that together have over 33 years experience. Preston Meats is not just a business but a family. We are an extended family of employees, customers and suppliers. Together we are Preston Meats.
