Butchery Apprenticeship

The Role

Do you want a clear development path for your career? - Then look no further than the Butchery Apprenticeship at Preston Wholesale Meats. This programme is aimed at people at the start of their employment journey - we will provide a structured programme with a dedicated trainer to transform you from Butcher Apprentice to a Skilled Butcher. If you have the enthusiasm to learn, we will provide the resources to support you to achieve your goals.

We are looking for trainees who will:

Be committed to following training programme to progress their career.
Receive training to use various apparatus, meat cutting tools and machines.
Be-self motivated.
Have attention to detail.
Take pride in their work.
Have the ability to work within a team.
Be committed to working within the Company values.

Full training will be given for these roles to include manual handling. health and safety, knife safety and basic food hygiene.
